OXFORD NAMES FRANK SAHAGIAN GROUP VICE PRESIDENT
Atlanta, GA — (NYSE:OXM) Oxford Industries, Inc. announced today that the
Board of Directors has elected Frank Sahagian to the corporate officer position
of Group Vice President. Sahagian will continue to serve as President of the
Oxford Shirt Group with responsibility for all Shirt Group operations, including
OxSport, Ely & Walker, Oxford Shirtings and Tommy Hilfiger® Dress Shirts.
“Frank assumed responsibility for the Shirt Group last year and has
demonstrated strong leadership skills during a very challenging period,”
commented J. Hicks Lanier, Chairman and President. “His retail background and
broad industry experience will continue to make him a tremendous asset to the
Shirt Group and our organization.”
Since September 2000, Sahagian has served as President of the Oxford Shirt Group
with responsibility for marketing, design, manufacturing, sourcing and
distribution. Prior to that, he was President of OxSport, Oxford’s private
label sportswear division and has been with Oxford in various sales and
marketing positions since 1985. Frank started his career with the J.C. Penney
Company in Men’s buying positions and then worked for the Arrow Shirt Company
and Salant before joining Oxford.
