Raj Palakshappa

Raj Palakshappa is Senior Vice President, General Counsel, Treasurer & Secretary of Oxford. In this role, he provides leadership across a wide range of corporate functions, including legal, treasury, corporate responsibility, risk management, internal audit and procurement. By bringing these areas together, Raj helps ensure that Oxford operates responsibly, efficiently and with a long-term focus on both performance and values.

Throughout his tenure at Oxford, Raj has served as a trusted advisor to executives and the Board of Directors, contributing to strategic decision-making and organizational resilience. He has been instrumental in advancing Oxford’s financial stewardship, ethical business practices and commitment to corporate responsibility.

Prior to joining Oxford in 2006, Raj practiced law at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and King & Spalding LLP, where he developed a strong foundation in corporate law, complex transactions and regulatory matters. These experiences continue to shape his ability to manage risk and guide Oxford through dynamic business environments.

Raj holds a J.D. from Columbia Law School, an M.B.A. from the University of Southern Mississippi, and a B.A. in Mathematics and Economics from Rhodes College. He is admitted to the bar in Massachusetts (2002) and New York (2003).
