As Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Operating Officer of Oxford, Scott Grassmyer oversees both the financial and operational functions of the company. He is responsible for driving Oxford’s financial strategy, ensuring operational efficiency, and aligning resources to support the company’s diverse portfolio of lifestyle brands. Scott brings value to the Oxford team by combining financial discipline with operational oversight, resulting in stronger business performance, streamlined execution, and long-term value creation for shareholders, employees, and customers alike.
Scott joined Oxford in 2002 as Controller and has steadily advanced through leadership positions that expanded his responsibilities across finance and operations. He played a pivotal role in Oxford’s successful acquisition and integration of iconic brands such as Tommy Bahama, Lilly Pulitzer, Johnny Was, Southern Tide, and The Beaufort Bonnet Company, transforming the company from a private-label wholesaler into a leading branded lifestyle apparel group.
Prior to Oxford, Scott served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Duck Head Apparel Company, where he honed his leadership skills in finance and apparel operations. He began his career at Ernst & Young, LLP, where he developed a strong foundation in accounting and corporate governance. These experiences gave him the expertise to lead Oxford’s financial and operational functions with precision and vision.
Scott earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Appalachian State University and later attended the MBA program at Clemson University, further strengthening his business and leadership expertise.
Beyond his professional role, Scott enjoys spending time with his family and finds balance outside of work through personal interests and recreation.
